The Founders of our League are a close-knit group of friends who are forever striving to meet the challenge of placing professionalism where it’s appreciated, but still encouraging a fun, social atmosphere where it’s wanted... Yup, around the tables! We encourage plenty of good-humoured banter, but as with any happy, healthy family we care about each other so mean, abusive, big-time cussing people are not for us.

We are one of the few leagues who welcome comments from non-members, so if you like what you see, feel free to post a message (Members too) in our very own personally developed League Forum
It’s no accident we’re family at SureShots! Most of us are not just players, we’re also staff, sharing the workload by taking our turn to host tourneys.
Our competitive, top-rating players happily mix it with our fun-loving, social people. We welcome all ages and our large following of girls makes for a pleasant atmosphere. Our members stretch to every corner of the globe, from the Americas across to Europe and down to Australia and Oceania. We HAVE to be laid-back and relaxed, to cope with such variety *smiles*.

League Rules
- PLAYER NAMES - Yahoo Name and League Name must match. One account per player only. Any duplicates will be deleted and repeat occurrences risk banning from our League.
- LEAGUE GAMES (LG) - League games must be reported within 10 minutes of being played. Do not file a “Non-Report Claim” until 12 hours past. Unless all contestants agree before a match commences, there are to be no Safetys, no Timers, no Best Runs, no 2v2, or any other special conditions in League Games.
- RULE SETTINGS - Rank gain for a win is 75%. 5 matches permitted per day between same players. Members automatically purged after 100 days inactivity. Top 10 ranked players are dropped after 24 hours inactivity. A “top ranker player” is defined as Ranks 1 to 5. Only players ranked up to 10 may utilise the formal challenge system. 3 days between formal challenge by same players. Players have to complete formal challenge within 2 days.
- RANKING SYSTEM - We do not tolerate “hogging of #1 ranking”. On the one hand, we expect players holding #1 rank to fairly make themselves available in between tourneys for League Game (LG) challenges, and on the other hand we do not tolerate players harassing the #1 ranked player for excessive games. The #1 ranked player is entitled to play the same opponent only once every 24 hours (including both LGs and Tourneys).
- YAHOO SERVER REBOOTS - If Yahoo requests a new server, a current tourney will be completed under the old server. Any contestants leaving the room (including accidental) will automatically forfeit their match. The TD cannot over-ride this rule. Any other Yahoo problems will be dealt with by the TD (as advised by an HTD, if available).
- YAHOO GLITCHES - Players cannot override Yahoo “glitches” eg. if they hit their opponents ball despite the line indicating they should have missed it, or if they miss their own ball despite the line indicating the ball should have made contact, or if their ball sits against a pocket and there is no line, or any other Yahoo stuffups.
- PLAYING OTHER GAMES DURING TOURNEYS - Players are allowed to play each other in other games, provided that the players are not holding up any tournaments. Common sense should prevail with this rule.
- FORCE-FORFEITING - This is not permitted in our Tourneys.
- WHITE BALL ON BREAK - The white ball must be moved on the break. If a player forgets to, then restart the match with a rerack. If an opponent fails to ask for a rerack before they play their next shot, the game must proceed as normal.
- 8-BALL POTTED ON BREAK - If the 8-ball is potted on the break, please restart (rerack) the game. If the 8-ball is potted anytime after the break, Yahoo Rules apply (game is lost), unless the TD permits a rematch as a result of 8-ball being potted EARLY in the game, and both players agreeing to the rematch. A player is entitled to enforce their win (according to this rule) and not be castigated by their opponent or be over-ridden by the Tourney TD.
- TIMERS - A player must request a Timer from the TD if their opponent is not responding (known as MIA or "missing in action"), even if the opponent announces they will BRB (eg. rebooting their computer). 5-minute Timers apply for the first MIA and 3-minutes for the second MIA. These apply to all games except Finals, which is 10-minutes and 5-minutes respectively. If a player receives a 3rd Timer in the same game, they forfeit their match.
- GG (Good Game) - GG or any similar comment before the end of a match, is not permitted and is considered as poor sportsmanship. Given a new member will be warned once-only, with repeat occurrences the TD will interpret such tactics as the offender “conceding the match”, and their opponent will be awarded the game.
- BOOSTERS - Any member found using our League Room to “boost” will be banned from the League.
- FORMAL CHALLENGE - If a formal challenge is issued to anyone we expect the match to be played within 24 hours (Unless there is a valid reason). If it is not played in 24 hours then the challenged member risks losing there rank placing.Please contact an admin if you have challenged a top ten player and they haven't responded to you within 24 hours.

Welcome to the Bux Masters Head Quarters! Sometimes when we get over excited, we find that we have run out of bux. Shock! Horror! We can’t jump into any tournaments now! Not anymore, we have the answer!
The names listed to the left, are members of the SureShots Team and generous premium members who are here to help. If you have run out of bux feel free to hit the Yahoo! Messenger symbol next to our names to ask us for some bux! Yes that’s right! We are the Bux Masters!
If you yourself are a Premium member (either Platinum or Diamond) and want to be a part of the Bux Masters Team, you can! Just message an Admin with your email and YIM and we can place you on the list!
Please remember when asking for a gift of bux, that the person you are asking have worked hard to earn them in the first place and are generously giving them to you! We are nice like that!
